“How much on food this month?” — Otto answers in plain language and draws the chart inline. It knows your budgets, so it can tell you what's left, not just what's gone.
Talk instead of typing. Speak the expense and Otto transcribes, categorises, and files it — quicker than opening a spreadsheet.
Alerts at 80% and 100% of a budget, bills due in two days, subscriptions about to auto-renew, and a weekly summary. Told in advance, not after the damage.
Set a monthly limit overall or per category. Every insight then shows spent-against-budget, and going over is flagged, not buried.
Recurring payments are recognised and logged for you each cycle. The predictable half of your spending stops needing your attention.

Because small leaks sink big ships. Most people don't overspend on big things — they leak money on small ones.
The problem isn't earning more — it's seeing where it goes. Outlai makes that effortless.
Talk to your books — freeThe safest way to handle your banking credentials is to never ask for them.
We don't ask for your net-banking login, and there's no bank connection to authorise. Nothing to phish, nothing to leak.
Outlai can't see your balance, your history, or anything you didn't hand it. You bring a statement or type it in — that's the whole input.
A bank statement is read once to pull out the transactions, then the file is deleted. A scanned receipt is never stored at all. An image you attach in a chat is kept, so the conversation still makes sense later — and you can delete it whenever you like.
Request full deletion through a public form — no support ticket, no waiting on us. Bulk export to CSV, Excel or JSON is free on every plan.
Read the privacy policy and terms — both in plain language.

What people ask before signing up.
No. There is no bank connection to authorise and we never ask for net-banking credentials. You either type expenses in or upload a statement yourself.
It depends on the file, so here it is precisely. A bank statement is read once to extract the transactions, then the file is deleted — the transactions stay in your account, the document doesn't. A receipt you scan is never stored: it goes to the AI, the transaction comes back, the image is discarded. An image you attach in a chat is stored, because the conversation would make no sense without it — you can delete those individually, or delete the whole thread.
Yes. Enter the password when you upload and we'll open it — most Indian banks lock statements by default, usually with your PAN or date of birth. The password is used once to read the file and never stored, and the file itself is deleted after the transactions are extracted.
CSV, Excel, and PDF bank statements — including password-protected ones. AI reads the statement and matches transactions to categories, even messy formats that don't sit in neat columns. On iPhone and iPad, import is free. On the web and Android, your first import is free and Pro lifts the cap.
Yes. Logging, categories, budgets, insights, data export and the AI features are all free, with a daily limit on how much AI you can use. Paid tiers raise that limit and lift the cap on statement imports. No card needed to start.
Yes — export to CSV, Excel or JSON from settings, free on every plan. Your transactions are never held hostage; if you stop paying, your data stays in your account and you keep using the free tier.
Fill in the account deletion form. It's public, it doesn't need a support ticket, and it removes your account and its data.
The web app works on a phone browser today, and the native Android app is in closed testing — a limited tester group ahead of the public Play Store release. Leave your email if you want in, or to be told when it opens up. iOS is further out.
Treat it as early software: it's live and in daily use, but expect rough edges. You're not locked in — export your data or delete your account whenever you want.
